Moodle Help & Support 

I've lost my Administration block (or any other block from the Moodle side columns)

Moodle has a feature that allows blocks to be "docked" as tabs on the left hand side of the page.

To add a block to the dock

Next to the heading on each block is an icon to "dock" it (Indicated in the diagram below for the Administration block).
 
 

This moves the block to a tab on the side which looks like this:

   
  

If you move your cursor over the docked tab you can use the block as normal

 

To undock the block

 

Click the button for Undock (as shown below for one block, or for all blocks)
