Student Handbooks 2020-21
All student handbooks are now located on Moodle.
Research students will be primarily referred to Moodle https://moodle.nottingham.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=97784 as their main source of information from 2020/21 onwards.
There is also a new assessments handbook for 2020/21 which should be included on all Moodle module pages. Please ensure previous versions are replaced.

2019-20 Session
A Faculty redesigned Undergraduate Community Page is now on Moodle.
The Moodle Undergraduate handbook has been amended, as well as the Postgraduate handbook
A Moodle page specifically for 2+2 students has been created for guidance
The Producing Assessed Coursework handbook has been renamed the Assessments Handbook for 2019/20.
2018-19 Session
The new Undergraduate Community Page (including UG Student Handbook) is now on Moodle.
The new MA Community Page (including PGT Handbook) is now on Moodle

2016-17 Session
The University have introduced new Student Services Centres. The School office is now closed, but you can visit the Cherry Tree Lodge Centre for advice, or the website: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/studentservices/index.aspx
Producing Assessed Coursework has been updated to reflect changes to Student Services.
The University has implemented a standard submission deadline time for all coursework across all Schools. The new deadline is 3:00pm.
2015-16 Session
The School submission deadline for all coursework has been changed to 2.00 pm.
The School's procedures for applying for Extenuating Circumstances (ECs) and Extensions have changed for 2015/16 onwards.
Producing Assessed Coursework has been updated to include further details on Marking Criteria and the School ECs procedures.
2014-15 Session
Producing Assessed Coursework has been amended to specify that the MHRA system of referencing should be used for creative writing modules.
2013-14 Session
The School's revised word count and leeway policy. This is being introduced in Spring 2014 for current first years. In Autumn 2014 it will be in place for first and second years and for PGT students.
University Extenuating Circumstances Policy and related policies and procedures. Workspace pages for students have been updated with changes to the policy but the full policy is available from the Quality Manual.
