How to:  delete a draft assignment you have submitted to a Moodle dropbox (NOT Turnitin)

If your lecturer has set the Moodle attributed dropbox to allow resubmissions you can delete previously submitted files and replace them with the new version/correct one.  If resubmissions haven't been allowed or it's past the due date you will need to contact your lecturer to ask them to delete it for you so you can resubmit.

Deleting or replacing a file

  1. Go to the assignment dropbox where you have already uploaded the submission you wish to delete/replace
  2. Click Edit submission
  3. Click on the submitted document to launch another window
  4. Click Delete
  5. You will be asked if you are sure if you want to delete this file. Click OK to proceed. This will remove the file you originally submitted and you can then upload and resubmit another file
