The guidelines contained in the Producing Assessed Coursework booklet  include information on the two systems of referencing used within the School of English, as well as advice on preparing and presenting your writing.

This guide has been revised for 2016/17The booklet is current under review by the School and will be available for the first week of teaching in the 17/18 academic year.

Your attention is particularly directed to the section on Plagiarism. The University takes the academic issue of plagiarism extremely seriously and this guide gives more information on how to write and make use of other people’s work without committing plagiarism.

More information and advice on plagiarism is available in the Academic Integrity and Plagiarism session which takes place in Week Three Four. This presentation is delivered to new students arriving in the School of English at the start of each academic year.
