    Accessing your Email

    All postgraduate research students are entitled to a University email account. Official University communications by email to staff and students are sent to University email accounts.

    To avoid missing important messages, you should check your University email account frequently.

    Students can access their email account using a web browser by visiting the Outlook Web Access page (https://email.nottingham.ac.uk) and entering their University username and password.

    Part-Time Researchers

    Vitae is an external organisation dedicated to realising the potential of researchers through transforming their professional and career development. They often deliver on-campus training specially for part-time researchers, and also have a lot of material on-line.

    Off-Campus Library Access

    Log in to Student Services using your university username and password, select the library tab and then go to elibrary gateway, to access our online journals and other library e-facilities. 

     

    Software

    The University has licenses for a number of key software programmes (such as SPSS), a number of which are available off-campus for our students. Please refer to the University’s Software Library for a full list of programmes available, and instructions on how to download them: http://downloads.nottingham.ac.uk/Download.aspx.
